If you were to ask me to list off some words about myself and my interests, these are probably the words I'd say first:
-Jesus.
-VFCC.
-Senior.
-Elementary Education.
-Travel.
-Harmony.
-Photography.
-Stars.
-Compassion.
All in all, I am in a state of becoming.

Why did I start this blog?
Because every day is beautiful.
Here's my theory behind this blog (well not strictly my theory!): If we as humans do not value the individual days we've been given, then days just turn into mere transitions to the "more important"/ exciting moments in our lives. Therefore, we need a shift of perspective. It's easy to think and say things like, I live for the weekend or I just have to get through these days, so I can make it to [insert exciting event]. What's hard is to say things like, Even though this is a hard day, it is beautiful, and I'm going to take hold of it and make it count for something. It seems odd even typing that, because that is not the way that humans typically think!
Where am I in this perspective-shifting process? Far, far away from where I want to be. But let's be honest, thought processes don't change overnight. As much as we wish they could.
Every day is a gift from God. And every day we have the chance to do something significant.
[God] has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. -Ecclesiastes 3:11
